Pakistan Visa Types
Tourist Visa
For leisure travel, sightseeing, and cultural visits. Valid for up to 3 months with single/multiple entry options.
Business Visa
For business meetings, conferences, and trade activities. Requires invitation letter from a Pakistani company.
Transit Visa
For travelers passing through Pakistan en route to another destination. Valid for up to 72 hours.
Visa on Arrival
Nationals of the following countries can obtain a visa on arrival at Skardu Airport (subject to change):
eVisa Information
Pakistan offers an online eVisa system for citizens of over 175 countries. Apply online before travel for faster processing.
- Processing time: 7–10 business days
- Fee: $60–$100 depending on nationality and visa type
- Apply at: visa.nadra.gov.pk
Skardu-Specific Notes
- • Foreign nationals must register with the local police station within 24 hours of arrival in Skardu (your hotel can assist).
- • Certain areas around Skardu require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for foreign tourists — check with your tour operator.
- • Visas issued for tourism are valid for Gilgit-Baltistan including Skardu.
