Astore Valley branches off the Karakoram Highway at the Indus gorge and climbs through Astore town toward the vast flower meadows and villages beneath Nanga Parbat’s legendary 4,000m Rupal face — the highest mountain wall on Earth. It links Skardu via Deosai and offers quieter treks like Rama Lake and Tarishing.
